Thanks to your continued support and participation, we are pleased to announce that Ward Village has been awarded Lots 2 and 3, following the HCDA Decision Making hearing for Kewalo Harbor.

HCDA Proposal Submitted

On May 1, 2015, Ward Village submitted a proposal for Kewalo Harbor in response to the HCDA issued RFP for Lots 1, 2, and 3.  We’re confident that the inclusion of all three lots offers a comprehensive and unified master plan approach to create an improved community gathering place for the people of Honolulu.

HCDA holds Public Hearing to review Best and Final Offers from the Howard Hughes Corporation and Kewalo Waterfront Partners.

October 2nd, 2015

Howard Hughes Corporation submits their BAFO for the proposed Kewalo Harbor master plan to HCDA.

August 26th, 2015

HCDA circulates comments to Howard Hughes Corporation and requests a Best and Final Offer (BAFO) for the proposed Kewalo Harbor master plan.

July 9th, 2015

Howard Hughes Corporation presents proposed master plan to HCDA board during a public hearing session.

May 1st, 2015

Howard Hughes Corporation submitted their proposal for Lots 1, 2, 3 and the overall master plan for the harbor, incorporating input from community meetings.

March 2nd, 2015

HCDA issues Solicitation Notice to develop waterfront commercial space on fast lands surrounding Kewalo Basin Harbor for Lots 1, 2, and 3.

Howard Hughes Corporation enters into an Exclusive Negotiation Agreement with HCDA for the old NOAA property later known as Lot 3. As Howard Hughes Corporation began planning the site, it became apparent that the entire harbor needed a plan. This plan would need guidance from the community.
